About the App

The App operated by Reno RD is a services marketplace for the Dominican Republic that connects customers who need home and repair services with independent service professionals.

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the App. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. The effective date of these Terms is August 27, 2026.

How the Marketplace Works

A customer describes a problem and submits a service request, optionally with photos or a voice recording. The App helps suggest a likely service category and match the request with a suitable service professional.

The customer and the professional can then communicate through in-app chat to arrange the details of the service directly between themselves.

Our Role: A Neutral Venue

We provide a neutral venue that connects customers and independent service professionals. We are not a party to the service agreement between them, we do not perform the services, and the service professionals are not our employees.

Any contract for services is formed directly between the customer and the professional. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any service, and we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of either party.

Eligibility and Your Account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the App.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Service Professional Responsibilities

Service professionals are independent and are solely responsible for the services they offer and perform, including having any skills, qualifications, licenses, permits, or insurance required to perform those services lawfully.

Service professionals agree to communicate honestly with customers, to describe their services accurately, and to comply with applicable laws.

Service Requests, Bookings, and Cancellations

When a customer submits a request and a professional agrees to help, the arrangements for the work, including scheduling, scope, and any cancellation, are agreed directly between the customer and the professional.

We are not responsible for a party’s failure to appear, perform, or complete a booking, or for any cancellation by either party.

Payments and Pricing

The App does not currently process in-app payments. Pricing and payment for any service are arranged and settled directly between the customer and the service professional.

We are not responsible for collecting, holding, or transferring any payment, and we are not a party to any payment arrangement between a customer and a professional.

Artificial Intelligence and Guidance

The App uses artificial intelligence to help transcribe voice, analyze photos, suggest a likely service category, and help match a professional.

AI output is assistive and suggestive only. It is offered as "possible issue" guidance and is not a professional or technical diagnosis. You should not rely on it as a substitute for the judgment of a qualified professional.

Your Content and License

You retain ownership of the content you submit, such as photos, voice recordings, descriptions, chat messages, and reviews ("User Content"). You are responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the right to submit it.

To operate the service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and share your User Content as needed to run the App, including sharing it with the relevant service professional or customer and processing it through the sub-processors described in our Privacy Policy.

Prohibited Conduct

• Do not use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.

• Do not post false, misleading, offensive, or infringing content.

• Do not harass, threaten, or abuse other users.

• Do not attempt to disrupt, damage, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.

• Do not misuse the review system or impersonate any person or business.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or to protect the App or its users.

You may stop using the App at any time and may request deletion of your account within the App at Settings → Account → Delete Account, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any professional or service arranged through the App will meet your expectations.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the services performed by any professional, for the conduct of any user, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Disputes Between Users

Disputes about a service, its quality, or its payment are between the customer and the service professional. We are not obligated to resolve such disputes, and any dispute-handling process we may offer will be described separately.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
